Open Access Policy
Open Access and Archiving Policy
"Ukrainian Gestalt Journal" implements an Open Access policy. All scholarly articles are published indefinitely and free of charge immediately upon release of the respective issue. Full-text access to all materials in real time is available on the journal’s official website in the archive section.
This approach corresponds to the definition of Open Access set out in the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI). The journal’s licensing terms are aligned with the majority of international open access policies and standards for scholarly archiving.
To ensure long-term preservation of published content, modern technical solutions are applied, including regular data backup, the use of reliable digital storage formats, and measures to prevent data loss, damage, or unauthorized access.
The journal supports self-archiving practices and allows authors to deposit their publications in institutional, disciplinary, and other open repositories in accordance with the license terms.
Open Research Data and FAIR Principles
The journal supports the principles of open science and encourages authors to ensure transparency and reproducibility of research results by providing open access to research data.
Where appropriate to the nature of the study and not in conflict with ethical or legal restrictions, authors are encouraged to deposit datasets in open institutional, national, or international repositories. Such data should comply with the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable), ensuring proper identification, accessibility, interoperability, and reusability.
Where relevant datasets exist, authors must indicate their availability in the article text and metadata, including a persistent identifier (DOI or other stable link). This contributes to greater research transparency, reproducibility, and integration into the international scholarly environment.
The editorial board considers the availability of open data as a positive factor in manuscript evaluation; however, the requirement for mandatory data sharing is determined in accordance with the specific nature of each study.
